This spring, Goldstein Law Group welcomed five new associates to our growing team. Each brings different skills and experiences to the firm.
Joseph Fasone is a civil trial attorney with more than two decades of experience. He was a solo practitioner the past 18 years, acting as lead counsel in more than 30 jury and 100 non-jury trials. Previously, Fasone spent five years as Assistant Public Defender in the 17th Judicial Circuit in Fort Lauderdale and was named Attorney of the Year: Juvenile Division in 1992.
Luis del Nodal Jr. is an active trial practitioner with nearly 30 years of litigation experience. Prior to starting his own practice in 2008, del Nodal handled eminent domain litigation for the Florida Department of Transportation District 4 and worked for Julie Taylor & Associates, an in-house insurance defense firm for State Farm Automobile Insurance. Like Fasone, del Nodal also was an Assistant Public Defender in the 17th Judicial Circuit in Fort Lauderdale.
Proficient in sign language and a professional teacher, Lori Vathauer served as an advanced certified legal intern for Vigil D Hawkins Civil Clinic in Gainesville, Fla. before joining the firm. Previously, Vathauer had clerked for Mager Lawyers, LLC.
Monica Duenas was previously an associate attorney with Cathy Lively, P.A. in Lake Worth for four years. Duenas had clerked for Bernheim & Dolinsky, LLC and Kotsker/Shamy, P.L.
The newest member of our team, Cable Poag, has extensive experience in both the public and private sector. He worked for the Office of the Attorney General in Utulei, American Samoa http://mapcarta.com/24107152 and the Office of the State Attorney in the Fifth and Tenth Judicial Circuit. In between, he worked as an associate in the law offices of Michael Moran in Sarasota and Koch, Parafinczuk & Wolf, P.A. in Fort Lauderdale.
