Timothy E. Jones, Esq.
In his role at GLG, Associate Timothy E. Jones concentrates his practice on civil litigation cases with an emphasis on insurance fraud claim including first and third party claims.
Timothy is a Florida native that attended the University of North Florida and Florida Coastal School of law after a successful enlistment in the United States Army. While in the United States Army, Timothy served as an Infantry Rifleman, 240B Machine Gunner, and Team Leader with multiple combat deployments before being recognized for his technical abilities. Timothy reenlisted and served as a Satellite Communication Systems Operator/Maintainer before honorable discharge.
In law school, Timothy participated in the Criminal, Family, and Military Law Societies, and received top scores in criminal pre-trial procedure and constitutional law. While in law school, Timothy worked directly under a board-certified civil trial attorney before interning for the Public Defender for the 4th Judicial Circuit of Florida and clerking for the Office of the Federal Defender for the Middle District of Florida. While at the Federal Defender’s office, Timothy worked directly on cases involving white-collar crime, terrorism, and other federal crimes.
After law school, Timothy went directly to work as an Assistant Public Defender in Duval County, Florida where he served as lead counsel representing thousands of clients on matters ranging from misdemeanor crimes to violent felonies. In 2019, Timothy attended Public Defender College where he received awards for his cross-examination skills, before taking and passing the Georgia bar exam.
In 2021, Timothy left full-time service at the Public Defender's office but volunteers frequently. After working for a high-profile litigation firm, Timothy joined Goldstein Law Group where he specializes in insurance fraud and defense.
